Vibrant Health for Animals Workshop in Pagosa Springs, CO

Empowering you to care for your animals the way Nature intended

It's one thing to be healthy by definition, which is "absence of disease or injury". And it's another to be vibrantly healthy, with energy and zest for life!

Picture your dog relentlessly chasing his favorite ball, never tiring of the game. Envision your aging horse, trotting freely and comfortably across his pasture, relishing the sun and warm breeze on his face. Imagine petting your kitty's luxuriously soft fur as she purrs contentedly in your arms.

Vibrant health is about thinking about how our animals would want to be taken care of, through their eyes. What they need for food, security, companionship, exercise, housing, as it applies to them, is what matters. It's not about vaccinating for everything under the sun, feeding expensive processed foods, loading them up with chemical insecticides, or treating every disease with just drugs and medication.

It's looking at the whole animal - their mind, spirit, and body - and using natural products and modalities - to assure that you're doing the very best you can.

In this full-day workshop, you'll be empowered and feel confident to take care of your horse, dog, or cat's emotional and physical needs every single day.

Dr. Barb Fox, holistic veterinarian, has been in practice for more than 26 years. After experiencing a life-threatening health challenge in 2007, in which Dr. Fox turned to natural medicine to heal her body, her veterinary practice changed completely. Each animal is looked at as a mind-body-spirit entity, recognizing that complete healing takes place only after emotions, thoughts, and physical issues are all considered collectively.

Dr. Fox is a board member of the Veterinary Medical Aromatherapy Association, a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and is a published author of various holistic medical resource guides and journals. She has spoken at prestigious national, regional, and local holistic conferences and seminars. Dr. Fox also conducts workshops across the country on the benefits of holistic therapies and products for animals and people.

In her spare time, Dr. Fox loves hiking, rock hunting, reading, and spending time around the fire pit on their rural Iowa farm with her husband Gary, their two horses, Pal and Chaser, and their seven housecats.
